"Artem del Dare" is Italian for The Art of Giving.
In 2017, a friend asked if I could teach a painting class to help raise money for her sister's cancer treatment.
My love of sharing, making, and giving combined! Just like that, "Artem del Dare" was born.

Choose your own adventure format
The format of these classes has become a little different over the years.
I don't guide the group step by step to all make the same painting anymore!
Instead, I encourage each artist to make something of their own.
But don't worry, you aren't ON your own!
I bring many sample paintings for inspiration (to copy or just to start from).
AND I have a few samples with specific written instructions if you feel you need step by step instruction (I got you).
I believe each person in my class CAN make their own painting AND choose to go their own way AND I am available for help and support along the way, These classes are a little different from the traditional "walk you through" a painting. Instead this is space and time to paint something of your choice with support and guidance along the way.

I am mobile! I can bring the party to you, if you are okay with a little paint flinging (i have table cloths). (Set up for 20 available)
I am open to host in other spaces, like a brewery or any business with big tables willing to host some painters.

I have space for 12 painters in my studio. If the weather is good, we can be outside.

Marketing
Once we have the details, I will create and manage and post the event on Eventbrite.
Please help promote your event as that is the best way to get people excited!

Pick a price
The general rate for a painting party is about $40 per person. That is flexible based on how much you want to donate. The total raised (less Eventbrite's fee) will go to the cause via a check direct from the bank. It can take up to 2 weeks after the event to cut the check.
I use Eventbrite for ticketing. They add an additional fees to the cost of the class for credit card processing and their service (3.7% + $1.79 Service Fee and 2.9% Payment Processing Fee as of 2023). We can also add a line for donations in the Eventbrite ticketing for people can't make the class but still want to donate to the cause. 100% of the money raised (less fees) by donations go directly to the cause.
